Young Equine Innovators Summit

Join us from 3–6 March for the International Young Equine Innovators Summit.

Join us at our four-day Young Equine Innovators Summit in Kildare, Ireland, where young people, industry leaders, educators and entrepreneurs come together to explore the future of the equine sector. Hosted in partnership with Kildare County Council, the Summit blends innovation, careers, sustainability and enterprise across a dynamic programme of workshops, panels and networking events.

🌱 Day 1–2: Turning Equine Passion into Innovation

Venue: Irish National Stud & Gardens

The Summit opens with an interactive innovation experience designed especially for young equine innovators.

Participants will:

  • Present their equine background and a real challenge they want to solve
  • Explore European equine trends and future career pathways
  • Learn how to move from an idea to a practical business plan
  • Take part in a sustainability workshop with expert case studies
  • Build connections through facilitated networking and team activities

The day concludes with reflection, preparation for the main innovation event, and an evening networking dinner.

🚀 Day 3: Equine Innovation Event – Pathways & Possibilities

Venue: The Curragh Racecourse

This flagship event brings together leading voices from across the Irish and European equine industry.

The programme includes:

  • Official welcome and keynote address
  • Launch of the Young Equine Innovators Guide to a Career in the Equine Industry
  • Panel discussions on industry growth and opportunities
  • Career insights from trainers, jockeys, veterinarians, nutritionists and breeders
  • Innovation sessions exploring AI, genomics and data analytics
  • A spotlight on equine tourism and Ireland’s global reputation

Attendees can also connect with universities, training providers, employers and enterprise agencies in a dedicated exhibition and networking space.

🤝 Day 4: Wrap Up & Departure

Venue: Goffs

The final morning includes a facility tour, structured reflection and evaluation, and discussion of next steps, mentorship and placement opportunities before departure.
