From 3 to 6 March, young people, industry leaders, educators and entrepreneurs came together in Kildare, Ireland for four days of innovation, careers, sustainability and enterprise in the equine sector. Hosted in partnership with Kildare County Council, the Summit took participants from the Irish National Stud and Gardens to The Curragh Racecourse and Goffs, blending hands-on workshops with panel discussions, industry insights and networking.
Over the four days, participants developed real business ideas from first spark to practical plan, heard from trainers, jockeys, veterinarians, nutritionists and breeders, explored AI, genomics and data analytics in the equine industry, and saw the launch of the Young Equine Innovators Guide to a Career in the Equine Industry.
Below you can watch highlights from our panelists, browse moments from across the Summit and download our days agenda!

The panel discussions were the heartbeat of the Summit. Across the four days, leading voices from the Irish and European equine industry sat down to share what a career in the sector really looks like, where the industry is heading, and what young people entering it today need to know. Trainers, jockeys, veterinarians, nutritionists, breeders and innovators all brought their own perspective, and the conversations ranged from first jobs and unexpected career turns to the technology and sustainability challenges shaping the decade ahead.
We recorded four of these sessions so that anyone who could not join us in Kildare, or anyone who simply wants to hear them again, can catch up in full below. Together they capture the honesty, ambition and energy that defined the Summit. Whether you are a young person weighing up your options, an educator supporting the next generation, or already working in the sector, there is something in each of these conversations for you.
